If a picture’s worth a thousand words, think of what all the cover art in your collection might say. Use Cover Flow to flip through your digital music the way you flip through CDs. Or create groups of albums by artists, genres, or composers with Grid View. Skim across a group to see the albums inside.

Go digital and do more with your music. Shuffle songs or albums. Drag and drop songs into a playlist, then group playlists in folders. Search even the largest library in a fraction of a second. Play anything with a click.

Hear songs that go great together.

Let Genius reacquaint you with music you already own. Anytime you’re playing a song and want to hear more like it, just click the Genius button. iTunes will generate a Genius playlist with songs from your library that go great together.

Get music recommendations.

Imagine a record store stocked exclusively with music you love. The Genius sidebar is a lot like that. Just select a song, and the Genius sidebar displays songs and albums by that artist, as well as insightful recommendations from across the iTunes Store. What’s more, the Genius sidebar never recommends a track it knows is in your library. And you can preview or buy any song in the sidebar with a click.
